An important issue in the neuroscience is training of the next generation. For training young neuroscientists the current academic curriculum, knowledge, and experience need to expand the expected future progresses of the world. This means that enhancement of the educational capacity of universities is necessary to overcome the tremendous progress of the future.
Also young student may have a clear understanding of the neuroscience as well as their capability that needed to become neuroscientist; before any application. This can be possible during the “open days” in most developed countries. Also they me meet a neuroscientist at academic and/or scientific meetings.
These meetings provide good insight for young student all over the world; with rare exception in some developing countries; which one may be aware of. Volunteer student may also be aware that the monastic, rather than commercial nature of the neuroscience. They will touch the suit fruit of the neuroscience later; when they achieve there first scientific findings.
Training the neuroscience may defer in format; however, is more or less is the same at all over the world. Students of the neuroscience may go through one of the following ways. For young student is good to complete the medical course; then continue via postgraduate position in neuroscience to be a neuroscientist.
For graduate student of molecular biology, physiology, pharmacology, psychology, and even mathematics as well as computer sciences also is necessary to complete the medical course; before becoming a postgraduate student of the neuroscience. Science clinical specialties such as neurology, neurosurgery, and psychiatry are professional position rather than university degree; they may also was trained in short courses and/or research projects. However; good for them to carry on post graduate position in addition to their medical degree.
Over these academic training they may get either MBBS or MD and PhD degrees; and continue as a neuroscientist.
Careers in the neuroscience are both vast and variable at the present time; and may make progress at the progressive world of the future. These career include the academic career, pharmacological industry, research centers, computing industry, mathematical modeling of the brain, art and media.
Space expeditions may benefit bilaterally from the neuroscience; and offer scientific career for the neuroscientist. Academic career provide opportunity to the young neuroscientist to deal with training of the medical science students and enjoy getting fruitful findings of scientific research.
Pharmacological industry may provide chance to design, produce, and/or improve drugs to overcame of the brain diseases. Computing industry, as well as mathematical modeling of the brain benefit bilaterally from the neuroscience.
Medicine played interesting role in art as did in science traditionally as described by Albert S. Lyons and Joseph Petrucelli at 1912 in the history of medicine; and may the neuroscience continue this path through art and media. Doesn’t matter where you work; to be a neuroscientist you need to contribute to the growing knowledge of human brain for wellbeing of mankind via scientific research and/or clinical findings.
