Brain and Stress

Stress may define as an input to the brain, which causes filling of punishment. This brain input may occur via changes in the surrounding environment. So that, any changes are considered stress in the brain.

Paykel, et al in 1936 lists verity of changes as stressor in a big number. Even some happy changes such as marriage and birth of the newborn in the family counted as stressful events. From scientific stand point stress is an input which causes neurotransmitter release in different level of the brain; and produce filling of punishment via stimulating the limbic system.

In the thalamocortical system also causes verity of processing to” cope” with; when the intensity and duration of stress is manageable. Long lasting uncontrollable stress on the other hand leads to the brain illness, especially in the venerable individual with genetic background.

Although our knowledge of stress and its control enhanced; verity and volume of stress also enhance by time. Especially in developing societies with sharp rise of technology, stress is considerable. An example of stressor in these societies appear to be ill understanding of competition among different social gropes, which cause and distribute stress among whole society; sustaining development in developing societies.

Life style as well as cultural issue may consider not only stressor but also relief from stress. To ease the stress Social support, change of life style, and correction of cultural standpoint suggested by neuroscientists.
